Hello there,
As we continue this fast, I want you to pause for a moment and think about how God has been drawing you. There are seasons in our walk with Him that feel like an invitation. Seasons where you sense Him saying there is more. This is one of those seasons. A season of clarity. A season of possibilities. A season where the Spirit of God brings back instructions you used to overlook and makes them clear again.
You may have felt it too. Over the past weeks, whenever we pray or take time to be still before God, there has been a gentle pull to listen. Not only to pray. Not only to speak. But to hear Him.
This is because this season is not powered by your effort. It is powered by revelation.
In Ephesians 6 verse 10, Paul says, “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”
He does not tell us to depend on our emotions or our own strength. He points us to the strength God already provides. Strength that is available. Power that is working. Victory that Christ has already secured.
So what do you do when God has already made strength available?
You receive it.
You walk in it.
You stand.
Paul repeats that word many times. Stand. And each time, he connects it to prayer. Not prayer that is empty. Prayer that is built on revelation. Prayer that responds to what God has already accomplished in Christ.
This is why the word of God becomes your armor. It is what you take into prayer. It is the sword of the Spirit. Your confidence comes from what God has spoken, not from how you feel. Praying in the Spirit is more than speaking in tongues. It is allowing the truth of God to rise inside you until light begins to confront darkness. Until revelation begins to silence confusion. Until truth becomes louder than deception.
The world is full of distractions and illusions. Scripture says the whole world lies in darkness. People often react to what they see, even though what they see is not the full story. But once the eyes of your understanding are opened, just as Paul prayed in Ephesians 1, everything shifts. Your prayers change. Your posture changes. Your confidence changes.
This is when prayer becomes partnership instead of struggle.
Authority feels natural.
Boldness rises easily.
From that place you begin to speak as someone who has already won. You are not trying to win. You are enforcing the victory God has already given you. You speak to territories. You resist darkness. You call forth what God has already declared as yours. And you stay steady because revelation has given you stability.
Galatians 3 verse 5 explains it well:
“He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith?”
Miracles flow where hearing is alive.
This is why God is drawing your attention to your ear in this season.
Isaiah 55 verse 3 says, “Incline your ear and come to me. Hear and your soul shall live.”
God has not stopped speaking.
The question is whether we are hearing.
When you truly hear Him, your perspective shifts. You stop focusing only on what is happening around you and start paying attention to what God is doing in the Spirit. The distance between the natural and the supernatural becomes smaller. The picture of victory inside you becomes louder than the noise around you.
Habakkuk understood this. He said in Habakkuk 2 verse 1, “I will stand upon my watch to see what He will say to me.”
To see what He will say.
Sometimes God speaks through a picture. Sometimes through a quiet nudge. Sometimes through a gentle instruction. But every time He speaks, something changes. There is clarity. There is courage. There is direction. You suddenly know what to do.
This is why waiting on the Lord matters. We are not waiting for dramatic moments. We are waiting because hearing God is our greatest advantage in this season.
When your hearing opens, possibilities open too.
When your hearing sharpens, miracles follow.
When your hearing deepens, progress becomes faster.
Because with God, nothing is impossible.
So as you pray, expect clarity. Expect visions. Expect instructions. Expect ease. Expect alignment. Expect the atmosphere around you to respond to the word of God you speak.
You are not trying to become victorious.
You are enforcing the victory Christ has already given you.
And in this season, that victory will speak loudly.
