Stewarding the power and encounters received
Hi there,
I trust that Super Sunday was indeed a time of encounter for you — a time where the power of God was made manifest and divine things were deposited into our lives as led by the Spirit of God.
But it is important that we understand something:
What God begins, He expects us to steward.
Throughout the Scriptures, we see clearly that the power of God is not a mystery. God has always shown us how His power works and how His people are to cooperate with Him to experience the fullness of it.
Jesus said:
“Behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry… until you be endued with power from on high.”
— Luke 24:49
There was a promise — but there was also a responsibility.
Again:
“Wait for the promise of the Father…”
— Acts 1:4
And when we see the response in Scripture:
“They were all with one accord in one place.”
— Acts 2:1
This is very crucial.
Because when we go further:
“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken…”
— Acts 4:31
What does this show us?
Encounters are sustained through alignment.
Super Sunday was not the end — it was a beginning.
The same way they gathered with one accord, lifting their voices in unity and expectation, we must continue in that same posture.
Because the supply of God’s power flows where there is:
- Unity
- Alignment
- Expectation
The Scripture says:
“How good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity… for there the Lord commanded the blessing.”
— Psalm 133:1
So what happens next?
We continue.
We continue in the Word.
We continue in prayer.
We continue in expectation.
Because it is not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of God.
And as we maintain this posture:
- What we received will not diminish
- The grace released will find expression
- The power imparted will produce results
God is willing. God is ready.
But He works with men who align with Him.
Stay yielded.
Stay expectant.
Stay aligned.
And you will see the fullness of all that God has begun in your life.
